Feeders on Poles / Stands
Free-standing poles and complete stations. Feed the whole garden from one spot you choose, no tree required.

About our feeders on poles / stands
Bird feeders on a pole solve the oldest problem in garden feeding: the best viewing spot is rarely where a tree happens to grow. A free-standing feeder pole plants in seconds - most of ours use a corkscrew or spiked base that screws into lawn or border without tools or concrete - and puts hanging feeders exactly where you can see them from your kitchen window. Multi-arm feeding stations go further, carrying a seed feeder, peanut feeder and fat ball rack together, often with a water dish and seed tray on the mast, so one standing spot feeds the whole cast from tits to robins. Poles also make squirrel defence simple: clamp a baffle at waist height, keep the pole two metres from launch points, and the seed stays with the birds. Every pole here is powder-coated steel that stands up to wind and British weather. Free UK delivery on orders over £20, with a 100% money-back guarantee on every stand.
Feeders on Poles / Stands - FAQs
Will a feeder pole stay upright in wind?
Yes, planted properly. Corkscrew and multi-prong bases anchor into firm lawn or border soil and hold a loaded pole steady. Push the base fully home and check it after the first big blow.
How do I stop squirrels climbing the pole?
Fit a pole baffle about 1.2 metres up and site the pole at least two metres from fences, sheds and branches. The baffle stops the climb; the distance stops the jump.
What should I hang on a feeding station?
A seed feeder and a peanut or fat ball feeder is the classic pairing - it covers finches and the tit flock in one go. Use the tray and dish for mealworms and water, and you have a complete setup.
