Window Feeders
Suction-mounted feeders that bring blue tits and robins right to the glass. Perfect for flats, offices and anyone short on garden.
About our window feeders
Bird feeders for windows are the closest view of a wild bird most of us will ever get. A window feeder fixes to the glass with strong suction cups and brings the garden to you - a blue tit feeding thirty centimetres from your kettle, a robin at eye level while you work. They are brilliant for flats and balconies where a conventional feeder has nowhere to go, for home offices, and for anyone who cannot easily get outside. Good window feeders share three things: heavy-duty suction cups that hold through wind and rain, a slide-out tray so you can refill without unsticking anything, and drainage that keeps seed dry. Start with sunflower hearts, which nobody refuses, and expect the first visitors within a week or two. Clean the glass before mounting, press the cups on firmly and re-seat them monthly. Free UK delivery on orders over £20, and if the birds do not come, our money-back guarantee has you covered.
Window Feeders - FAQs
Will birds really come right up to a window?
Yes - it usually takes one to two weeks for the first bird to feed, then the habit spreads. Quieter windows see faster results, and sunflower hearts speed things up considerably.
Do window feeders fall off?
Not if mounted well. Clean the glass with washing-up liquid, dry it, and press each suction cup on firmly. Re-seat the cups every month or so, especially before winter.
Are window feeders safe for birds?
Yes - feeders mounted directly on the glass actually reduce collision risk, because birds approach slowly to land rather than flying at reflections at speed.
