How high should a pole baffle sit?
About 1.2 metres up the pole - above a standing squirrel's jump from the ground, below the feeders. Combined with two metres of clearance from launch points, the pole becomes unclimbable.
Baffle or squirrel-proof feeder - which do I need?
A baffle protects everything on one pole at once, so it is the better buy for multi-feeder setups. Feeders hung from trees, where there is no pole to defend, want a caged or weight-activated design instead.
